Oh yeah. I feel like I should introduce myself since no one knows who the hell I am. Given that I appeared out of the blue two weeks ago. I've been in fandom for... six, seven years under various names, but never as more than a beta (in HP, though I would like to drop my last commitments there and lack the nerve to say it). I write for a living--kinda--but I've never written a word of fanfiction. Woo!

Joining the German contingent, I'm (roughly) half German, half Jewish in a "my grandparents had accents, loved unappealing food, and were very awkward around each other" kind of way. (We can only be grateful my grandfather was already dead when my parents met; my grandmother was saner and merely told the neighbors that my red-headed mother was Irish.) Whatever wasn't accomplished by heritage has been accomplished by life, so, hopefully, I can do this. And, if I can't, at least we'll have sufficient angst, just with crappy character voice.

If I fail, at least I can always slink off to Bandslash.
