LJ has deleted and purged at least one comm (ds_match) it deemed inactive, even though there were posts there, so this is a comm-is-still-active post.

Unlike LJ, inactivity isn't a reason for deletion on Dreamwidth, neither for personal accounts nor community accounts. Individual account owners are the only ones who can delete an account.
